Ah! Another fellow pyro that is into pixels. Been doing public displays for about 8 years now. I got into pixels a few years back for the design/scripting aspect. Pixels also give a similar satisfaction for setup, programming, and seeing the end result.

Fantastic set up and countless hours I'm sure. I'm wanting to build a display to go over a large window on the front of the house and program with christmas video, How did you go about constructing yours and get it set up to handle video graphics the way that you did ? My community does an annual fireworks show over our manmade lake (Lake California in Cottonwood, CA). Nothing beats a grande finale up close and personal, right?!🥰. Good show!

Holy 💩 that was an amazing show. I dont think I have seen any quite this well balanced - I’m in awe. Driveway was something I have not yet seen done but I loved it. I have been shooting my display with drone for the last 4 years and enjoy the perspective. This was great, did you take any video in daytime - behind the scenes 2022?

Very nice! I just started to learn this stuff a couple years ago! Just have a few things. Going to do a mega tree next year! Biggest thing is programming!

I am on my 3rd year. Year 1, 3200 light mega tree. Year 2, mega tree + 5 mini trees, 7 arches and 6 snowflakes on the house. Year 3, mega, minis, arches, snowflakes + house outline and mesh (jumbotron) over the 3 car garage. I am using imported sequences from Tom Betgeorge, which are wonderful and cost effective (compared to time spent programming yourself). This year, I will be doing one song that I program myself, along with 9-10 imported sequences. IMO programming is something you ease into, once you are familiar with all other aspects of the gear. Why do you have the Sound Blaster USB to 3.5mm Audio?? Can't you just use the Raspberry Pi 3.5mm Audio Out ??

You don’t HAVE to have the Sound Blaster but it’s a very inexpensive method to improving sound quality so would recommend

@@AVeryMerryMeridian Can you do a video on the whole setting up of the audio from taking some random Mp3 and getting it show ready and then the physical parts of the setup and the Raspberry Pi config and the part in xLights to ensure that everything is in sync as I would like to add some singing props to my show next year.
