Great vid, thanks! I only just learned about the VR today, and I went on it for the first time yesterday. I would have loved to have seen the VR version, brilliant idea, but I do get motion sickness easily in VR, so it would have to be perfectly in sync with the motion I was feeling or I'd feel very sick lol

They used to, you would wear a VR headset and that is what you would see while riding. Personally I thought it was great, but a lot of people didn't like it. I think it often had syncing issues which caused motion sickness for some. It slowed operations down too, so was removed after a couple of seasons.

It’s a phenomenal coaster all credit to Thorpe park and Mack. The last thing I rode was iron gwazi and this thing stands up to it. Breathtaking ! Smashed it out the park !!!

I know, right? Sure it might be entertaining/funny to see that reaction from someone riding it, but could also put some people off who might have been thinking about maybe going to ride it until seeing someone not enjoy it. I think they probably do it though to make it look like more of a challenge to overcome, and an accomplishment once you have picked up the courage to ride.

I personally hated the VR as it felt like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded but hey thats just my opinion im sure many loved it. Alton must of had their reasons for removing it.

Again, it is your opinion, but terrible seems a tad ridiculous. I think this comes down to unrealistic expectations surely. Didn't like the uniqueness? i.e. the fact it's a terrain coaster basically, into a pit, and the first 'drop' is essentially from the lift hill, through the first corkscrew and right to the bottom of that helix - where you're hit with some serious postive g's I may add. That's the first drop!! Insanely creative design and so good around that helix. Could just go do a big drop, yeah cool, but like all the other roller coasters in the world ever. All I can think as another reason is that perhaps you are someone that adores very fast coasters, airtime and little else - if that's the case, yeah Nemmy won't be for you, as - whilst it is fairly fast, not the fastest, but fairly fast - it focuses on inversions and positive G's. I love it, but not insanely excited by it these days (that's because I've ridden it a million times though, not because I think it's a bad ride!@@lean2281

When did you ride? I've heard some say it wasn't as fast as the original, but they rode it first thing in the morning. Got to give rides a chance to warm up. If I'm going to ride something I've hyped up, I generally DON'T ride first thing, as it can ruin the experience. The difference between a morning ride and midday / afternoon ride isn't minute, it's mega noticeable. Massive coasters can go from feeling relatively forceless, to completely insane. Even Fury 325 in the early morning is NOTHING on Fury 325 late afternoon, man does that coaster warm up! (B&M's greatest creation) @@lean2281

To be honest i was there when the vr was going about on the ride and i remember almost going on it i was literally at the station for the ride and wimped out i should have done it 🙄
