Singapore Street art is so more beautiful cos of the curating involved. You go western countries, most of those street art is really ugly and look so trash.

In Singapore now all these self entitled people do as they like. When informed not to, they spew all sorts of hatred on you. Govt getting too soft! Anyway this country is going to the dogs. !

haha this "Singapore hour" video style is entertaining. It's funny to see how this show can adapt "Japan hour" into our local context. Do check out Bedok 85 market, a popular dinner/supper spot with satays, ba chor mee, hokkien mee, sting ray and your usual hawker fare! Also Simpang bedok, with some cafes, Indian food like roti prata etc. Different vibes! The market and hawker centre at Block 216 (next to Heartbeat) is also bustling in the mornings! Hi Ghib, are there equivalent heartland areas like Bedok in Japan? Would love to see where and how the locals live!

I dont remember the exact number of mrt stations in singapoor but there's a lot yeah. Not all of them are as big as bedok for sure, but bedok is probably on the bigger side, and you could walk to either station on each side. In fact I believe there's another station thats still under construction, and if you count the existing bedok north and bedok reservoir station thats four in total. Quite a distance though. There's a decathlon between bedok and kembangan as well, but its a bit awkwardly positioned. Distance between bedok north and bedok south is like 3-4km so thats a huge area Honestly singapoor is so dense you could throw a random dart and still find a lot of people. Probably. Bedok I believe has some of the taller buildings with interesting views(?) Not sure since I've never been there myself Not just bedok of course but the integrated pool design is kinda curious actually. From the outside you cant even tell there is a pool, but there is. One thing I forgor to mention is the stadium as well. Actually getting to east coast park or the reservoir from the bedok station itself is kind of difficult. Off the top of my head yeah, bedok has the massive hawker center right in front of the station which is very different from the others.

That salon is a scam! They were in the news Straits Times and reported on CNA where ladies especially elderly are scammed into buying expensive overpriced packages. Avoid that salon at all cost!

edit: @13:10 'No Short Stays' so that the locals are ensured local affordable housing, not to dissuade guests or tourists Japan's most dangerous area is safe enough to walk around with an expensive camera... I love what you said. It's the most ACCEPTING town, not the most "dangerous", people always fear what's different and what they don't understand. (and yes @10:05 says "we are rooting for Ukraine" because nobody likes totalitarianism) Meanwhile Detroit looks worse than Iraq circa 2005... and is only #6 on a list of the most dangerous U.S. cities

After I had lived Singapore for 2 years and now residing in Australia. The 2 things that annoyed me the most about Japan are: no benches in parks or public areas, no rubbish bins anywhere.
