This is an astonishing video of highly-skilled people making something very difficult look very easy. These degchis are utterly beautiful, all the more so for being entirely hand made. I have to ask if any readers/viewers know how I could buy one from THIS factory? I realise it would have to be posted here (to the UK) and would cost more than the £45 machine-made ones sell for here. But this is a utensil/work of art that, if taken care of, will be a prized asset forever. I have a few Chinese cooking implements - woks, chan spatulas etc - from back in the 1970s when things there were mostly hand made, and fairly rough, but they don't hand-make them any more, so mine are not only in daily use but are much-loved mementoes of a byegone era. The same industrialisation will inevitably happen across India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, and the skills these lovely people have honed will be lost forever, so now is the time to buy these beautiful creations. Please, if you have the address of this factory or other means of making contact I will happily contact them to ask how I can purchase a hand-built degchi from these lovely people.

Also, the fact that you test them in a rocket stove right in the middle of this dust factory is beyond unbelievable, like you are wanting the whole place to just torch up

So many "carrying" processes could easily be taken away if you just moved the machines closer to each other lol... like why doesnt the sifter drain into the bin for the escavator that goes into the pellet press, and then why does that not drain into the vibrating table.. so on and so on... its strange that you have each process just dump out onto the floor and then someone has to carry to the next process..

How many times has this place caught fire already? Electric motors buried in saw dust, open drive belts running in saw dust, etc. The whole process looks like a work program geared towards involving as many people as possible in the most inefficient way possible, i.e. one guy loading the truck while 10 people are watching him?

I get they have (not-so) limited resource and knowledge. This table would be sufficient enough for them and I'm sure would bring joy to the people playing on it. Not sure about the branding though... Also, why glue the cloth and use the wrong nails? Considering they had everything else readily available, I'm sure a set of tacks would be easily accessible?

Well done! Just 1 small thing - the washers (with the screws) should be either in the hole or covering the hole not some of the washer in & some out. Because you put that board covering the screws the non fitting washers are hidden. If I was to want to buy that table what is the cost? Shipping -I take it that the table is dismantled - what happens to the green cloth?
