What's the difference between the cream and the moisturizer?
@staceymichelle5576
@staceymichelle5576 Күн бұрын
If your not on any prescribed medications, have you tried magnesium?, it's the anti-stress mineral, I swear by the stuff. If your only getting magnesium through a multivitamin then it's likely the strength is low and of poor quality (Low absorption rate). There are many types of magnesium and you can take different forms for different uses. Magnesium bi-glycinate is best for sleep, calm and relaxation, I take this form at night or I'm yawning in the day lol. Citrate magnesium can be a good all rounder. I take this form in the morning as it doesn't make me sleepy and generally improves my mood. Then when I get closer to my period I take more magnesium as the demand for it is even greater in the body at this time. Oh and if you ever crave chocolate this is your bodies way of signalling to you it needs more magnesium. Don't take my word for it tho, but it's definitely worth researching into. On a side note I like to listen to classical music for background noise if I'm doing a task and I don't want silence, I find the music somehow relaxes me and doesn't trigger my flight or fight response like some current music does, I'm guessing part of the reason is there are no words being said that can trigger off stressful emotions.

Hiii! 😄 I’ve missed seeing you on KZfaq!! ❤ Aaand, I can so relate to how you’ve been feeling. The anxiety and depression and the crying. Oh! the crying! My hair is changing too, I have fine hair, used to be silky soft to the touch, but now it feels more coarse and rough kinda… so strange! 🫠 - My period is kinda off too, but I don’t know if it’s perimenopause, or stress.. Anyway, I really appreciate your openness and honesty around how you’ve been feeling lately. ❤ I keep returning to your channel to check if you have posted a new video 😊 It’s always so nice to sit down with my coffee and watch your videos. 🥰 Ooh!! The boobs thing!! Yup, can definitely relate… 😅😣 I’m 44, and I’ve been feeling like this for the past couple of years. I’ve had physical checks too, and apart from lacking some vitamins earlier, and some iron deficiency, everything was good. And when I dealt with those issues, I still felt the way I’ve felt for the past two years. So I don’t know… might be perimenopause. I’d love to see a favorite video, (can be makeup and beauty, but also books, movies, products of various kinds etc) Also, if you feel like it, a vlog. Just an everyday kinda vlog, it’s so calming to watch those kind of everyday vlogs. 😊 - Well, this was quite the thesis 😅😅 Well, happy to see you again❣️🙏🏼😄 I wish you a wonderful week! ❤ 🤗

I personally did not like that it made my eyes burn. I really love the La Roche Posay Anthelios Ultra-Fluid SPF 50+ Body Sunscreen. I use the body one on my face it is the same exact product as their face sunscreen (I even reached out to La Roche Posay to confirm) but the body one is cheaper and you get a lot lore product. This is one of my favorite sunscreens at the moment. Here is the link to their website: www.laroche-posay.ca/en_CA/sunscreen/sun-product-type/reef-safe-sunscreen/anthelios-ultra-fluid-spf-50-body-sunscreen/3337875709378.html

Cristina, I believed before that lifting creams are must haves for 40+. How do you think, can this Kiehl’s be used instead of the lifting cream and, do lifting creams give really that lifting effect as they are named? I guess, if I give my skin the proper cleansing with the foam and hydration with this cream, it could be enough to stay looking fresher and younger?
@thecristinamaria
@thecristinamaria 22 күн бұрын
I am so sorry for the delay in my response, I don't know how I missed your comment. Personally I don't believe that a face cream can "lift" your skin. I have spoken with dermatologists and they are of the same opinion. It just doesn't penetrate deep enough in the skin to actually cause the lifting effect. What I look for in a moisturizer is that it hydrates and moisturizes my skin well so that it looks more plump and that it helps my skin hold on to that moisture all day or night. When the skin is nice and plump you get that healthy, rested look to the skin. Honestly when it comes to skincare I don't believe that there are no miracle products especially for anti-aging (I take all the claims with a grain of salt); the main 3 skincare products that I make sure to use everyday are Vitamin C, retinol (in the evening), and the best anti-aging product on the market sunscreen. Sunscreen is the one thing that prevents premature aging in my opinion and I use it religiously hahaha. I also agree with you a good proper cleansing routine (I double cleanse) really helps the skin stay healthy which helps in the long run with looking younger.

Too bad doesn’t last to get you all excited and then you go home when they peel and then you have to go back again and they say all the people gonna last longer next time barely does. The color never last! Plus, you can tell she wasn’t going deep enough. I’m in there like no bladder or anything or no redness and you weren’t even flinching at all and I’m sorry when you get your brows done freaking hurts if you get it done the right way, even with numbing cream, you have to see some redness or little bit of blood sometimes then you know the ink going in there!!!

@@thecristinamaria this is my initial. I feel like the color is practically gone too.. (Which maybe that’s normal?) I was good about not getting my eyebrows wet in the shower but my brow care consisted of damping a cotton pad with water, lightly wipe my brow, and then take a dry cotton pad and tap it dry. Do that twice a day. No ointment or anything.

I think I am in perimenopause, too. 🫣I'm 44, and I am just starting to learn about both perimenopause and menopause. I kinda got a feeling that I am in some perimenopause situation. It's mindblowing how little I knew about it - it was never talked about in school, nor has any of the doctors or gynecologists I've been to ever mentioned it to me. I am not sure, though, since there are so many overlapping (?) symptoms of depression and anxiety, etc. It might 'just' be that, or it might be perimenopause or a combination. After all, humans are complex. Our bodies are complex, and life is complex. ❤I love how you are open about it, and I really love that some doctors now (I just saw a doctor on KZfaq talk about it, and it was so interesting!) are more open and interested in the topic. After all, it is an essential part of being a woman. 👩🏼❤🌼
@thecristinamaria
@thecristinamaria 2 ай бұрын
Thank you so much for sharing. ❤️ I completely agree, the available information out there about this topic is minimal and no one I know really talked about it as I was growing up. It was almost like something women went through quietly. It should really be something that we start to learn about in school. I am glad that women are becoming more comfortable discussing it and sharing their experiences. I also agree with you that our bodies are complex and with all the similarities between the symptoms it is hard to determine if in fact it is perimenopause or stress, or anxiety or something else. I want to learn as much as I can about it and of course I will share whatever I learn. I think as women we should normalize talking about these topics and share our experiences because it is a natural part of aging. 🤗🥰
