You don't get it, Pokémon has to be this bad because it's actually a garbage dump for all the technical problems and low quality assets other Nintendo games don't have. Metroid Dread would run at 12 FPS and Splatoon 3 would melt the console if Scarlet & Violet weren't coded on a TI-83.

Ah, the tropical disaster. I don't know if that can be considered a buff but Tropius did get a few things like Dragon Dance (which did nothing) and Harvest (which did nothing). At least I consider these as attempts to buff it, because these used to be niche traits that used to set it apart from a lot of other pokemon. Tho even these are just for competitive and not ingame.

Rewatching this again because Cheese tier lists are awesome for passing time and I think I get more upset about how IS treated Ephraim in this game every time, especially because he’s one of my favorite lords in the franchise. They had the opportunity to choose one of the only lords in the franchise that doesn’t use swords (at base) and they instead chose his sister - who is arguably one of the most forgettable lords in the franchise - to almost solely represent the ring of TWINS. It’s just so sad to me.

I finally got around to playing Future Redeemed these past 2 days. Monolith Soft, you've done it again. (I only waited this long because I didn't check the title screen when I downloaded the DLC and so I didn't see the prompt to go to the DLC, so I didn't know how to get to it and was too lazy to look it up. I only remembered it because I wanted to replay XC3 and just happened to see the prompt on the title screen.)

Defensive grass types aren't nearly as bad as they get rep for. Yeah, it sucks that they're weak to five types, but all their resistances are damn solid. Water, grass, electric, and ground are all amazing types to resist, which is why we see mons like Tangrowth do well often times. However, with main line games being more offensively based AND most people using switch mode, defensive utility isn't too notable

I do think Patrat and Purrloin should be D. Even though theyre available early, what are you going to use them for? Lillipup and the starters are just way better, and at least the monkeys have something to do with their elemental types, and help out against the first gym. Purrloin and Watchog have literally nothing to do that lillipup cant, besides maybe eating a psybeam or confusion from a munna in the case of purrloin, but even then lillipup gets bite and can destroy it, especially when its a wild pokemon, not a trainer pokemon. Maybe purrloin can stay where it is, as 88 attack with stab dark isnt the worst, and it will probably go first, but watchog without a useful stab type and not a single stat that breaks 90 absolutely deserves D tier. It does seem to be on par with the other regional rats, though it doesnt even have their utility as an HMployee, as it doesnt learn surf. All in all, Watchog is bad. It deserves to be lower, preferably D.

The average expected damage value of a 90pwr/90acc stone edge over a large sample size (90x0.9) would be 81 base damage whereas a 100pwr/80acc (100x0.8) is base 80 damage. A very slight advantage to the more accurate Stone Edge. However Ice beam vs Blizzard, ice beam is by far the better selection. Expected average damage of 90 for IB and only 77 for Blizzard.

Since this is my original FE game and I consider the Lyn chapters as essential she is tops in my opinion. Her and Sain easly clear her hard mode just the 2 of them. Her and Sain are usually in the teens by the time I finish with it (maybe my gal Florina as well). Some don't consider her chapters apart of the playthrough, but I always do her chapters to get started and she is untouchable
