Definitely get anti seize on those bolts, easier to get off when you need to take ‘em off

Did you go back to the hushpower Flowmaster or did you leave your Tahoe straight piped ???? And what did you like better ????

I put the flowmaster back on after like 3 months. I love the straight pipe idle but at 2500 rpm it woul get very raspy and the flowmaster sounds great all the time👍

I’m thinking about doing a cam and similar exhaust on my 02 z71 5.3 Tahoe this is one of the setups that ran threw my mind and I Thank you for your videos I think this what I’m going with or maybe a Magnaflow 3.5 as well

At the time of this video it was still the stock torque converter.

@@davidslaughter7523 i ran the stock transmission for a year before it gave out. Im surprised it lasted that long since it has over 300,000 miles on it. Now it has a mid built transmission good for about 650hp and a 2600 stall converter.

Lol. It died a couple months after that video. Has a mid performance built transmission now supposedly good for about 650 hp. Blew the spyder gears out the diff to 😁

Don’t do muffler delete…. So cringe… just buy a performance exhaust… even just a magnaflow resonator and muffler will sound 100 times better… muffler delete is what broke kids do…

@@eldrewski7597 if you want a loud but good sounding exhaust I’d recommend test pipes, a aftermarket resonator and a good name brand muffler. The difference is crazy

I've heard these are supposed to supress most of the idle tone. But the idle as well as the overall sounds seems pretty loud on your truck with these i'm not sure if its because it is cammed or what. I wanted to put these on an e550 benz.

Yeah i know but that little honda is quick. Honda should run about a 13.8 - 14.2 and a stock tahoe runs about a 16.4 so it really didn't do too bad. I'll post videos later racing some trucks for a better comparison. 👍
