What a great interview. Innocence and Illusion is amongst my favourite albums. What is it about dog walking that is so good for you! It really does help the creative process. Recently I have been putting together a book of poems, after researching my family tree. Many of the thoughts about historical context and important themes came from troshing the local farmland with our Labrador. Interesting to hear that Alan Parson's Tales of Mystery and Imagination feature on Amanda's influences. An amazing, mind expanding, panoramic storybook that Inspired me to read the wonderful Edgar Alan Poe's short stories again. Amanda is genuinely an exceptional musician and songwriter. The themes of her songs are often charged with the important, relevant issues that affect our lives and they deserve to be heard..Amanda, yes, we think you're rubbery!

First time I listened to Fastball I was living in Florida in the late 90s early 2000s, and ever since then, I still have " out of my head" stuck in my head. "Was I out of my head, was I out of my mind, how could I've ever been so blind, I was waiting for an indication, it was hard to find, don't matter what I say, only what I do, I never mean to do bad things to you,,,,,,,,,

This was a really good interview. I've been listening to this band for a few years now and saw the duo open for Riverside in Seattle last year. My brother and I knew all the songs so were anticipating hearing them and they didn't disappoint. We also heard a lot of positive chatter about them in the audience. Would love to see the whole band. If they tour and hit Seattle I'm there. Absolutely love the new album. Dark, heavy, and very interesting, just the way I like it. I like all of their output, but this one really hits home for me.
