A good grinder for espresso, but not great for coarser grinds. Doesn't achieve consistent grinding. You can get the same performance from much cheaper grinders. Not worth the money. I regret buying it.

From what I see, the setting for "espresso" is between 5 and 0, but is this valid for all Mignon Specialita, and any type of bean ❓ I feel like I can't find the right one grind . . .

Having issues with mine. It is very inaccurate. Calibrated many times of past 5 days and still off by a gram or less each time. Very much wanting to love this thing, but its becoming unusable.

yesterday I ordered a Atom W75 grinder, but two hours later,I saw that the new Atom,ie the W75,has a motor which is 430W,while the older Atom has double power,ie 900W.So,I am concerned if the power will be enough for a good grinding.

Nice grinder for demanding users, be it home-baristas or professional users. Unfortunately it is nearly impossible to keep your counter clean. If you grind more than 15 grams, it will get messy. I bought the Eureka funnel but that one doesn't fit (too high). That's 37 euros down the drain. If someone has another solution, please let me know.

What's the good grinding setting for espresso?

May have to get this. Just returned the Fiorenzato all ground Single dose. Curious to know about retention on this model. Fiorenzato single dose had issues with espresso grinds. Other grinds. No problem. But for my needs. Not ideal. Put in 18. Get out 12-15 without turning off. Turning on again. Pulling out shoot. Interested to learn more about this product

What is the different between XL and Turbo rather than burs material?

Marc, I was watching this and the Seattle Coffee KZfaq video on the same subject popped up. Being very new to all this, I found the Seattle video more helpful because it gave careful explanations of why burrs might jam, all the steps in great detail to remove the burrs, how not to lose the screws in the machine, and also how to remove and clean the chute while you have the machine apart. It also gave a list of tools needed to do the job properly. Hope this is helpful feedback.

Thanks for the explanation: In fact, I was also very dissatisfied with this upgrade. Unfortunately, this upgrade only makes sense if you want to switch to single dose. This is the only way to guarantee that you grind the right amount and then empty the grinder. The blow-function just work while the motor is running. The air comes out around the base slot where the stopper blade is and not thru the grinder shoot, when the motor is off. I wanted to use the cleaning kit for a full hopper. Clean the grinder after the running time of e.g. 6.9s. It is difficult to define the desired grind quantity with the closed tab. Unfortunately, not a well thought-out concept. This should definitely be communicated before buying this Kit and spend more money here.
