Great plans! I have enjoyed having a list of “try to finish” projects as well. It’s helpful to not forget about those projects that are closer to a finish or you just want finished. 👍🏻

Such a good idea, to focus in on a selection of WIPs for a finish. I feel like I am flitting between projects a lot at the moment. Might consider also setting some more solid goals for the rest of the year...

Love this idea! Good luck with it. I might do something similar. I want to finish my wips from 2020. Unfortunately they are all quite large. Maybe I can focus on one or two of them and look through my Wips to see what is closest to a finish. I think you should treat yourself to whatever it is that's the most important or interesting to you or something you've wanted a long time.

@@BlushingPinkStitches I did spend a few days focusing on the 2024 Haed Sal. Thursday I went ahead and did a new start for my birthday and really love it so we'll see when I move on from that. And I have a new start planned for the Olympics, Jardin Prive's Gnome Olympics piece. After that I think the Dark Queen of the Sea needs to be finished.

With the kids alphabet sampler, if you are restarting it, rather than ABC why don’t you do the letters of your daughters name? I know you’d have to do L twice but I think it would look lovely in her playroom.

Love the wip parade! You've made so much progress this year, especially on The Stitching Shelf. I don't think I've ever gotten 22,000 stitches in one month before. I have 8 more wips than you at the moment, and have many I want to start, but should probably try and finish some as well. I'd kind of like to do something for my birthday next year like what you did, but do it over the whole year. But I would need to bring the wip count down first. 79 Wips sometimes seems overwhelming. Especially since I have quite a few large ones. Take care!

@@BlushingPinkStitches I do not have one. I've never thought about that. How would you do one on Instagram? Post pictures of all the wips? A couple flosstubers I watched yesterday went through some of their wips and resclassified some of them out of their active wip list. The one person called it putting those in "prison". I'm thinking of doing something like that or going through and maybe ufo'ing a couple. Instead of prison though I think the inactive wips are on vacation. I have a few wips that got started just to meet a prompt for some challenge and really haven't been touched since and I don't know if I care to work on those again. I have another one that I think is going to be a restart someday since I don't really like working on it because of the fabric I chose originally.

@@maryannjohnson5410 I’ve seen people do a series of pictures of their WIPs on Instagram as their wip parade - some people do one a day for a while, some people post 10 pictures in one post and then keep going… I’m sure I saw that wip parade where they talked about putting their WIPs in prison! I like the idea of vacation much better, and I do think it’s a good idea if you want to really focus on a selection for a while… xx

After starting my new job in March I have found it hard to feel the motivation to get my stitching out... Ooh that’s exciting! Good luck with working on it, I definitely want to get mine out again this month ☺️ So in PK there’s an option to change the thread legend (Ithink if you click on the bars symbol next to the pattern on the main screen) and then click on an individual thread and there’s a button to press that makes the line underneath editable and you can put in another dmc colour… Hope that makes sense! I will try to remember to show that in my next Flosstube… xx

I think the Luca s flowers are such a beautiful pattern. I like the CraftiKate light green fabric for your Asian girl. I think the purple would look better for Wilbur because the shade of pink fabric is too much like the darker color of thread used for shading and Wilbur would just blend in with the fabric too much. Your bookshelf looks fabulous.

Such a beautiful collection of projects, as always! 😍 I think a light blue would look nice with your Japanese girl, since the farthest outer background color is a blue - that will fade into a light blue fabric nicely. And that second green fabric would look nice for Santa - it’s more of a woodsy green in tone than the lighter green. Happy stitching!
