Hi Jessica I had a question regarding the GelX tips . Would it be possible if I polish my nail tips with gel polish or regular polish and decorate the gel tips then, apply the tips unto my natural nails and do the process will the tip cure thru the polish ?

Hey Jessica ! Do you recommend the sculpted tips from Apres or the natural tips for clients ?! I have noticed sometimes too that some of my clients thumbs are to wide for the tips what do you recommend for those issues ?😭 i love your videos they are so helpful ! 🤍

Hey love! It’s handy to have both! I personally love how the natural tips look and they are a lot easier to apply, it’s really your client’s preference but definitely present both to them ☺️ if their thumb is to wide use the biggest size and fill in the empty spaces with the extend gel.

Hi Jessica! I havent had any issues with yhe application yet but the gel polish application! I bought a whole bunch of DND gel polishes and just recently it starts creating little circles NOT bubbles just tiny clear circles after I cure the top coat. It doesnt do that with my amazon gel polishes…. What do you think it could be? It is soo weird.

Hey girl! So that does tend to happen, I’m not so sure why. But If I see the little circles Ill remove it with rubbing alcohol before I cure it and that should help preventing them. Sometimes it’ll still happen so I just apply a second layer. But I have the same issue with some of my DND polished 😢

Have you tried applying a thin layer of extend gel on your natural nail before applying the nail? Also make sure not to get bubbles. Also biggest advice be patient, practice as much as you can always try something different. With time I promise you will master it!

You need to use primer at all times, primer is what helps the nail stay in place

How do you get them on so quick and easy? I always get air bubbles under mine. Plus, to me they are very thin and bendy. I have to put extra builder on top to make to sturdy. I wonder if you can use builder gel on top?

You can definitely use builder gel on top. Try applying a thin layer of the extend gel on your natural nail first, then apply the nail with not so much of the extend gel, this with help preventing bubbles and faster application ☺️
