Amazing to know that this is probably the only footage we'll ever see of this episode because of the banning of episodes that featured fur coats

It's really weird not seeing Dian, Janice, or Holly as one of Barker's Beauties, not to mention the different stage setup.

1972?? Wow! Never knew this show went that far back! And this was the first time I realized that that Vega very much resembled the design of the Camaro of the same year. So sad that it was just a piece of ****.

That’s how you know life in America is fucked up. A compactor is ten percent the value of a car. Not only that but, let’s say instead of a compactor, it’s a dishwasher. By today’s standards if the average car costs 30k, that dishwasher would cost 3k. Here’s where it gets even worse... the price of a dishwasher today is no different than what it costs back then. Go figure

Couldn't have been September 9, 1972 because September 9 was on a Saturday that year. If you'd tuned into CBS that morning at 10:30, you'd see the debut of "Josie & The Pussycats In Outer Space." Maybe the show taped on 9/9/72?
@jamesbonnen8 жыл бұрын
+C.B. Cooke You are probably right because before this game they played a similar game where you had to guess it in 10 guesses and nobody won that game. Of course this game eventually became the clock game

Yet the game, despite its rarity, forms the basis of the Australian "Price" Showcase Playoff, and this game is the basis of the qualification game to get into the Showcase, which was arranging six prizes from low to high, of which a variant in three prizes became Eazy As 1 2 3, and even Step Up with four prizes.

This episode was #0032, aired September 19, 1972...and the debut of Double Bullseye (the game your mother played, which was only used four or five times altogether). What you've got here is something...well, rather rare. Rarer than I could possibly stress. Do you just have this segment, or the whole episode? Personally, I'd like to see the whole show, or at least how your mother did in the Showcase. Regardless, thank you for uploading this. :)
