What is Debit Bill adjustment ?

This is the kind of adjustments done in the bill due to various reasons as follows (Sharing Few) 1. Arrears: If a consumer didn't fully pay off previous bills, the amount would be adjusted in the subsequent bill. 2. Revised tariff: If the electricity tariff changes, consumers might see adjustments in their bills. 3. Billing errors: If there was a mistake in a previous bill, the amount may be adjusted in the next billing cycle. 4. Security Deposit adjustments: If the DISCOM has revised the security deposit amount based on the consumer's usage, it might reflect in the bill as an adjustment. 5. Meter Reading Adjustments: If the previous bill was estimated due to inability to read the meter, and when the actual reading is taken, there might be an adjustment.
