God bless this poor little child!! He went through hell those 7 yrs by a dam homo who robbed him of his childhood and he only got a few yrs - I hope and pray that man had a miserable life and I hope and pray that Steven had a beautiful life! He deserves all the best life can give him!

And this is why you don't cut the ground pin off of amplifiers or anything plugged into the wall. Wanna solve ground loops? Find a different way. Not blaming the player here just whoever set up his gear, possibly not his/her fault either as there may have been some unseen damaged to the ground pathways in his gear

This is very sick. Some maIe priviledge i dont think if it was a girI it would go this way. Regardless many people should be punished. The media , the parents also. Child abusers

Stevens parents should be ASHAMED of themselves. Their son had gone through a horrendous situation & had lost so many precious years of his lives. Steven should’ve been protected & given all the support & help, which he would have needed immediately. SHAME ON HIS RIDICULOUS PARENTS.

His kidnapping was 5 years before I was born. I only heard about the movie in 1989. But this child suffered so much for those 7 years but I’m glad he found out the truth when Timmy was abducted. Steven is a true hero. I’m sorry for both families. I know that Steven and Tommy died young. My heart goes out to anyone who has lost a child. ❤️🙏🏻.

Sono venuta da poco a conoscenza di questa tristissima storia di due giovani ragazzi❤❤. Vorrei solo sapere se quegli stupidi della scuola che bullizzavano Steven, se passano davanti alla sua statua non si sentano imbecilli!

I use to babysit Tobin ( well it wasn’t quite babysitting as he was not yet a teenager but couldn’t be home alone) when his mom went out of town as she was the manager for a couple of different bands I was in at the time in the very early 90s. I actually ran into him at the Burbank airport years later and he remembered the band I was in as it was his favorite group his mom managed. I could describe his house and bedroom but I think he would be a little embarrassed as his mom was totally rich! ..and he wasn’t into rock at all when he was little..I’ll leave it at that lol

They should not have been interviewing this child on national tv forcing him to relive his trauma and possibly causing embarrassment to this young man. Idiots!

Just watched the Hulu documentary of this, I remember the story when I was a kid. So many whys? Why not let him get therapy? Why did the media harass the family? Why didn’t the family just lay low instead of sling interviews? You can just see how over whelming it was him, there was no need for it

David Hartman, who was the first host of _Good Morning America_ from 1975 to 1987. That's the program that Steven is on in this clip.
