Thank you so much for this Live Compilation! When I was extremely ill in 1986, a friend gave me Enya's Shephard Moons. It really supported my healing.🕊️ Enya has been part of my life ever since.🥰 Yes, I agree that she should have won the Oscar for "May It Be."💜

The 'Enya can't sing live' statement is nothing to do with her voice itself. It's more to do with the fact that there is so much multi-layering of her own voice in her recordings. There is also a lot of electronically sampled and synthesized instrumental backing. This obviously can't be all be done live. It's possible her live voice is included in the mix occassionally, but I've listened to a few so called live performaces very carefully and they're basically the same as the studio/album recording.

ahh yeah this SOOOO 100% Live ..there are invisible musicians playing their invisible instruments like playing the invisible piano , tubular bells , not to mention the overdubbing of her voice. How does Enya get a full orchestra from a grand piano in Sail Away ?At the very best there are only a couple of songs that are performed live . For the most part they are mostly backing tracks so not its not 100% live .

Good grief, was "Orinoco Flow" actually from 1989?! Yikes, time does fly... That song had such a unique sound that it routinely played even on soft rock radio stations here in the US. I remember hearing it in my car for the first tie and being transfixed by its sheer majesty. Even my head-banger brother was impressed.

Enya is not human anymore. Did they clone her?

Too much difference between recoded pieces and live ones. Too many audio effects to improve her real voice and singer skills. For this reason, she hates live music and avoids concertos.
