Im still wondering where the smoke comes from, does it come from the rope wrapping around the wooden thing infront of the cowboy? Or do they have some sort of accessories for the smoke show?

If it is the friction of the rope and the head of the saddle, the smoke only comes out if it catches the hind legs of the horse
