Without the "all age" You do not get another music scene which means no growth

if you take a passing glance at the vast majority of "rock stars" of the 80s and 90s (forget about prior to that) you would be hard pressed to find a handful who was not a colossal prolapsed rectum in some way. then there's ian, who -and i hate myself for writing this, because it seems like so much smoke, but it's honestly how i feel- seems like the only one who's a decent responsible intelligent human being. i look forward to meeting him one day.

I was in The Hague, NL two nights ago coz my friend was jamming in a jazz band, and suddenly a woman with three kids (probably all under ten) came in after they'd been standing outside watching the musicians. I was a bit unsure but then I realized I never really see kids at shows... but they were in absolute awe of the band and it was wonderful to see the admiration and wonder in their eyes. I hope they keep that forever.

I agree that everyone should be allowed to watch concerts, but not if moshing is common or if it’s got lots of drinking and drugs. Or at places like bars and nightclubs

Are you serious? He wrote that because he grew up in an area in which white people were the minority. He was bullied and cast out because he was white. The song is anti-racism.

NYC is a prime example of how age limits destroy music scenes. There are only a handful of venues in NY that allow minors to play or attend shows and as a result our once thriving music scene is now dismal at best. Power to youth.

@Exsugarbabe110 жыл бұрын
I do not understand why people need guns, yes there are a few illegal guns in the UK but you can go out and not get shot. I think an anti guns stance is hard to understand for Americans but a pro guns stance is very difficult for a British person to understand.

I am not too sure what UK laws are. However, if there was underage kids in a 18 year old and over club and the underage kid got hurt real bad, the owners of the club would be in a huge legal situation. That's all there is to it. It'd be nice to have an all age club to go to punk rock shows but that's just not how it works. Ian can be pissed of all he wants about it but he's not the owner of any kind of venue or club.
@kaiyodei5 жыл бұрын
they don't want the age limmit. they want 13 year olds to go to night clubs on their own

im from the uk so laws are different but im 16, iv been involved in mosh pits since i was12/13, yeah iv got hurt but iv had a fucking great time. music is for all, pits are for all. claiming you have to be 18 to get into a pit is moronic
@thatfatautisticnegro10 жыл бұрын
Is it so hard to spell 'you'? Kids from age 10+ need to make decisions for themselves or else they'll become attached and not be able to live by themselves. Plus in moshpits are when people shove into each other not a parking lot brawl.

@thatfatautisticnegro10 жыл бұрын
Because everyone from 10-17 years old are all dumb and need people to make decisions for themselves because they're mentally incompetent and until they reach 18 they get this massive boost in intellect and and they unlock independence. from your comment is seems its been a long time since you were 16.
