I guess he was trying his best to top deck a Poe to ECL and try to come back. The problem is that if he was going that heavy into drawing a Poe he probably shouldn't have resourced it turn 1. I feel like in this match if you don't have wing leader for the turn 2 play, you should probably ECL to kill your opponents first turn play

Eh they're not terrible.

While I am not big on mirror matches myself, these were the last two undefeated players through the first five rounds of Swiss.

While the new Han is quite good and aggro strategies extremely viable, control decks are still a very solid option as well. Palpatine control decks did very well both days in Baltimore, and blue green villainy control decks are still a top contender in the meta. Also, the new Han Blue deck is more of a control deck as well. Jordan just built his a bit more aggressive for the 2K after seeing so many Palpatine decks on Friday.

Technically the unit will die first, but it did enter play, so you do still get the experience.

So I went back and double checked. They did forget to put the one damage on John's base after the Sabine attack at the end of Round 3 in the second game. John was at 10 damage on base, not 9. The tokens showed 9, but I had the correct score on the board at the top of the screen. Good catch!

Did the same thing. Overwhelming Barrage simply wins games. In both games that card shifted the momentum.

Boba Units does on attack 3 damage to the attacked unit that is exhausted and didnt come into play this turn. So he kills him with this effect and not the actual attack.

I thought that might be the case. So that damage still applies even with his -2, good to know.

@mariorembrandt9818 is absolutely correct. It was the on attack ability of Boba that defeated Pyke Sentinel without any damage being dealt back to Boba. Also, thanks for stopping by!
