I started bunny tail grass from seed under lights. They are doing super and I want to over winter. Would you wait until next spring to divide them? BTW I have 100 days frost free days...and 265 days of winter 😊

Plastic bag surprises me. I would think you'd want some sunlight. I can see how I would keep bugs off. What do you want your cuttings in the dark?

I found a colorado blue spruce xmas tree that was thrown away in January 2024. It was so beautiful I couldn’t watch it being thrown away so i brought it back home and put it in a bucket of water. It’s July now and the tree isn’t dead. 😁. In fact there are baby pine cones growing on the branches. Has anyone seen this or heard of this? There’s no roots forming but the tree isn’t dead and baby pine cones are forming and growing. Can this tree be hydroponically grown in this water bucket?

Lol! New sub here. After I saw the overalls, mad respect! I grew up out in the country in the 70's with REAL farmers, with Oshkosh B' Gosh overalls! Last of a dying breed😢. The small farmer is nearly gone. Anyway, I bought property in the woods in Northern Minnesota and am trying to propagate Northern Red Oak! Hope this works!😊❤

A lot of comments about sumac. That's poison sumac and not the sumac that's more common. A video on Poison Sumac would be good too. Also, show the leaves of these plants for people who may have never seen them

Hi Mike, is the summer gathering happening this year? I would love to join the big family and learn how to do this in an urban backyard setting. God bless!

I want to take cuttings from my Green Giant Arbivita(sp) trees and my Hicks Taxus shrubs, and, of course, I want them to grow into sizable plants as soon as possible. How long a cutting can I successfully root? All the videos I see have relatively short lengths. Thanks.

My burning bush is out of control, to the point that I cannot get a ladder up there to trim it back. I think I'm going to chop it down from its 10 ft down to 3 ft this fall.

I wonder how long the plastic will last in ultra violet sun light. Seem like the problem is taking care of your equipment and not letting the carts sit out in the rain and sun.

We have either a pussy willow or scouler willow (app I’d) that we need to move. It was marked wrong and too close to our septic. It is about 10’ tall so I’d like to try this in case were unsuccessful in moving it. How long do you leave it in the bag before transplanting if I did this in June. From Maine.

Thank you this is extremely useful I had to do this and luckily it was really wet when I did I dug up several plants or should I say trees/shrubs Also on bigger stumps what I was taught to do growing up is to drill holes in a big stump put kerosene in it and burn it if you're in the area you can burn but you need to always call the forestry commission in your area and let them know all you have to do is give your name your phone number and location of the burn I'm sure you know this but maybe someone else does not the forestry commission will tell you if it is a good day a moderate day usually they say fire danger is low moderate high or there's a red band on burning Thank you sir for all the information and yes sir I'm subscribed😊

Never, ever understood the reason for duct tape--- there's a damn hole in the top. Hinge and twist tie is brill.
@crabtrapАй бұрын
REASON FOR SAND: it is an inert growing media. Meaning no organic compounds to cause disease or stress the root process. 2.reason is drainage
