Your video worked perfectly with my JDS-040 replacement, but it was a bit different for the JDS-030. For the 030, the blue part of the ribbon that connects to the main body of the controller (near the battery) needed to be flipped to face OUTWARD instead of inward. I’m not sure if this is the case for all 030’s or if mine was just special. I thought the battery was dead because it was not charging. I’m glad it was an easy fix to just flip the cable 😂 6:20 Good luck to everyone else & thanks so much for the video! ❤

If you have a rear transmission seal leaking that might cure your problem but don’t forget that there is a bearing inside that housing that I highly recommend to replace or you will still have that leak just food for thought in case you’re going to go through all that trouble do it the right way replace that bearing thank you my brothers and sisters MA Jesus Christ of Nazareth bless you all.✝️✝️✝️🙏🏻🇺🇸

I think you need a new filter

My transmission id# is 27459Y3. Nothing like the id#s I see in the forums or sites because theirs have 2 or 3 letters. It has MD8 on the passenger side and is a 16 bolt pattern square pan. If anyone has anything to assist me in identifying the transmission, that would be greatly appreciated!

Cork gasket is the best gasket it will leak if you don't use one and tork spec. Valvolin is excellent oil, 4 qts only for high mileage transmission because it may slip
