From everything I've read, the torque spec on those sway bar end links is fairly low, like 18-35, sometimes (Moog) even lower at 14 ft-lbs.

Recommend this video big time, every other video shows situations that may happen, whereas thia video shows how it would ideally go from start to finish

Error on cell voltage measurement - you need to take the voltage from the first battery post to the electrolyte of your first cell and add that to the voltage you measured on your last cell. This should add up to the value of each measurement of electrolyte to electrolyte measurement you have taken. These are not actual cell voltages but they should add up to the battery voltage. Post to electrolyte voltages are half that cell voltage measure, electrolyte to electrolyte voltages are positive plate of one cell to negative plate of the other cell you measure.

Great video. How about making a video on testing Battery Desulfators? I have a Pulse Tech PowerPulse passive battery desulfator on my 2001 BMW battery and Pulse Tech claims that their desulfators and chargers use a patented frequency to extend battery life up to three times.

I have heard that before charging, you should just make sure that the plates are covered with water, charge the battery, and then fill to full after charge with distilled water?

OMG! A YT video from six years ago helped me today! This fixed my Thomas replica radio from barely being usable to now with NO static using this method of cleaning the actuators inside the cabinet with the alcohol!!!!! Unbelievable!

Thanks! I generally do this when replacing brake pads. I also replace the sway bar bushings at the same time. Cheap and easy wear items.

Greetings, during the sulfation process, do the residues fall to the bottom of the battery or simply disappear by virtue of Epson Salt dissolves? If it falls to the bottom is it important to get rid of it for the best functionality of the battery itself?

Making use of the kzfaq.infoUgkxcJ22tnHH9l1vjdIdEIG27iOG55P7LXI8 reconditioning plan, I just saved 2 auto batteries from being completely junked. The guides were very simple to follow. I wish I would have found this years ago! You may use the guide to recondition any battery type

do i need to jack up the car on both sides at the front, or is jacking up the car on one side (the one on which you replace the link) also ok? (i was asking myself, if there would be too much tension on the sway bar, if the car is just jacked up at one point, resulting in some kind of warping and the front axis not being symmetric causing that the link will be hard to be removed). thanks

To all:....Get a "PulseTech" Xtreame battery desulfator (s). I have several use them, on my golf cart, Miller Welder batteries and three of my vehicles. They work great. Constantly pulsing the plates keep them free of lead sulfates.

This looks more like an expensive science project. Multimeter, load tester, light bulbs, etc, etc.testing the cells wasn't show because hands were in the way. Did + & - go into cells ? Whatever. This is a film to ensure it's easier to buy a new battery. I call this film ... Rubbish & a waste of good time.

I Originally had one of these old Mercury switch thermostats. and I ran into the same problem I switched it out for a programmable one, and used it until it went wonky. and stopped turning on the furnace. I would hear the little relay inside click. and it would display "Heat On" on the display, but the furnace never came on. if I jumped the connections in the terminal strip on the back plate, the furnace would operate normally. so I bought another model of Honeywell, which luckily had the exact same back plate . so all I had to do as just snap the old one out and snap the new one in place. and it is working wonderfully again. 😀

I have an older 1970’s diesel furnace in my basement. I just followed your instructions using a Honeywell RTH2300B thermostat. (This unit is powered by two(2) AAA batteries, so it does not need a power wire. ) Your instructions worked perfectly! Thank you!!! Honeywell should hire you to write their install manual!!

This might be an old video but just what I needed for a 2000 outback. I noticed some of the ball joints are kept from spinning with an Allen wrench in the end (my American size fit) and some use an open end wrench ( which is much better)

Well for 1 this is a good battery because it has over 11.5 volts. Secondly if it was below 11.5 volts you would not bring it back to a good state unless you completely rebuild it. Your title says revive a dead battery. This is by no means a dead battery
