I am considering getting an E bike, and welcome any trail commentary. I live just outside of Alcoa, TN, and have walked parts of this greenway. It is indeed beautiful, and confusing. Thanks for your video.

I enjoyed your video. One clarification, the trail is owned and managed by Lancaster County, the Lancaster County Solid Waste Management Authority, Columbia Brough, Marietta Borough, East Donegal Township, and Conoy Township. Each entity owns a section of the trail and maintain it collectively. It's a team effort!

Is there really no use for this as a rail line again built back to modern standards? It runs through some areas only tangentially served by Metro and provides a bit of a cross-town route, doesn't appear curvier and slower than the existing Metro lines and would complement them well.

Thanks for this video, I just completed that very interesting trail last week. I have been touring several states riding the local trails and find this one to the best I have visited so far. Today I’m in Sarasota riding the Legacy Trail and if you haven’t done it yet, pease do and post a video of your ride. Keep them coming!

Great trail. I rode it in 2018 a few months before they had all that rain damage. I remember when we stayed in Sparta, eating at a great pizza place called the Slice of Chicago.

Well, I rode this trail last week, based partly on your video here. I loved it - there was seemingly a surprise around every corner. However - you're absolutley right about the lack of maps and signage. I thought I would never find that iconic Alcoa pedestrian bridge. Had to keep consulting AllTrails and stopped two strangers to get directions. Maryville and Alcoa STILL have not invested in good wayfaring signs and maps. Maybe one day. But I did enjoy exploring the trail very much. Thanks!
