I really thought radio station games were fixed. I used to listen to it every night at 9pm and Q102 would do their top 9 at 9. We had to listen to all of the songs,write them down and I would start calling even before the #1 song would even start and could never get anything but a busy signal.

For as long as I can remember, I had a phone in my bedroom and I don’t recall if I ever had a real curfew, at least not when I was old enough to actually want to talk on the phone but I remember when I got my own phone line. Before I was old enough to get a job, My parents made me do chores to pay the 15-20 dollars for my phone line. It was a little more bc of course I need call waiting. I felt so cool giving my friends my own personal phone number and after that, it didn’t really matter what time my friends would call. I would stay up all night talking to my friends and my boyfriend. Sometimes we would even falling asleep while still on the phone and wake up the next to just say “see you at school”. Those were the best phone calls but now I’m wondering if I ever snored or talked in my sleep.
