This is an awesome idea! Would there be some other type of material? That's more see through than the wavy corrugated plastic? I think building windows that can be lowered for ventilation is awesome. I have a fan on the ceiling of my gazebo, so this would be great to have air. Come in the windows and also open the door to ventilate. I also think this is an awesome idea. Because I have a cat that keeps coming in my backyard. I thought when I closed the screening and the curtains, it would keep the cat out. Well, it doesn't. The cat comes in and lays all over the furniture, leaving cat hair everywhere. Because I'm allergic to cats. I have to keep washing the cushion covers. Which is not a good thing because it so hard to get the cushions back in. Painting the frame to match the rest of the gazebo is an awesome idea. I was also thinking of using corrugated, plastic or some. Type of clear kind of window looking plastic for the bottom and add screening on the top portion. This is also an awesome idea for the winter. So I don't have to keep sweeping leaves out of my gazebo and putting away my cushions and decor. Also, the nice thing about having this frame is. You can build shelves to put lanterns some. Type of lighting or plants and secure them to the frame. Please let me know if there's another type of plastic. That's not wavy and more clear.

I want to do this to my house but it has a fireplace. Can I just replace the box with a metal chimney stack mounted on the side of the house?

YT channel NFB has a video from the 1980s called "Grain Elevator" that shows a similar Saskatchewan Pool grain elevator in operation. Very neat video.

Hi Austin, I went to the Vicwest website, can you confirm that you used the Barnmaster 32" wide? Also, how long were your panels? Looked like 30 feet? What size hole did you predrill? Have you done another Quansit Hut Roof and did you use 2 panels instead of one like you mentioned? Unfortunately Vicwest does not sell this "agricultural panel" in the USA. Do you happen to know of a US based manufacturer that has a flat stock metal that is bendable like Barnmaster? or another Canadian mfg that may ship to the US? I am trying to redo a barn for my daughters wedding reception in August, so a quick reply would be much appreciated. Thank you, Jon

Can confirm - in Regina it’s April 4th and it’s supposed to be 20 degrees out today and you can bet your ass the wind is absolutely howling out there. I tried sitting out on the deck and it sounds like a damn freeway in my backyard.

Do you have less spiders in there now? I'm trying to figure out a way to enclose my gazebo because spiders come in through the gap between the roof and the top of the hanging screen and make their nests. I hate going out there at night especially. Thanks

thats amazing it still tasted decent lol , i once worked for a nurse on her house , she used to run kidney and liver dialysis test , when patients had bad results on there liver ect , a lot of them drank dark sodas and of course the ones that drank hard liqueur , but she said dark soda was very bad , light color soda was not as bad .... great video

its built well ! , similar to the cash registers back then with the oak base ect , its probably some simple issue , sometimes the old oil can gum up , and or a dead spring or slightly bent tin coin holder or door

Lock in a 4' piece of siding & use another piece of siding against the soffit/roof any angle than mark your angle. Save the cut off as your template. Also use a grinder with a cut off wheel or miter saw with a fine blade installed reversed constantly sprayed with silicone spray, So the vinyl doesn't stick the blade. Just Use the grinder.
