Thank you so much for always being there to help me with the patterns I sometimes struggle with…appreciate it more than I can say💛❤️💜💚💙

This seems to be the solution to my problem because I am knitting a shawl as well. The pattern is supposed to be 59 inches wide, and my stitches are crunched up on my 40” circular needle. Now I’ve learned from your podcast that all I need to do is get interchangeable cable needle that will solve my problem. Thank you and may the good Lord bless you.❤

Thank you for that pattern and the instructions. It is refreshing to view a site that has a clear and concise format along with keeping it succinct . I shall enjoy the lovely light moss green wool I have bought to make a pair of leg warmers… once finished. Perfect winter project😊

Thanks for the tutorial Joanne. Does this pattern lay flat?
@JoannesWeb5 күн бұрын
Not really. Only stitches that have combination knit and purl stitches, lay flat. Others need to be blocked unless you use 3 or 4 garter or seed stitches on the sides.

Thank you for the pattern and the tutorial! I am always challenged by this type of pattern and usually go back to making regular-shaped dishcloths. I will try again with this pattern.

How many stitches is she using, and what size knitting needles is she using? And how does she cast off?
@Lamara529212 күн бұрын
That doesn't matter, it is the types of.casy ons she is showing, not a project.
@JoannesWeb12 күн бұрын
Exactly. This is not an actual project. Just different methods you can use. Please let me know if you're looking for a project to knit and I can direct you with a link.

Great video! I've been knitting for over 5 years, but I haven't learned any new stitches other than ribbing and seed stitch. This video was super easy to follow and now I have a cute new stitch to use on my rococo style ballgown that I'm working on!

so do i keep purling on the other side as well?
@JoannesWeb21 күн бұрын
The purpose of this video is to show how the purl stitch is done. If you purl on both sides your fabric will look the same as if you knit on both sides. Please watch to the end.
