The 1mm wire is that the right size for 1/35 panzer IV
@johnalecsscalemodeling10 күн бұрын
@@Chris-ev7xo it’s a good question - it’s slightly too thick perhaps but went in the kit eye hook and it’s what I had. Tank cable is 1 to 1.25” thick. Or .029-.035” at 1/35. This is .039”. Blackening it also makes appear thinner. Cheers

Awesome build! I came to this video hoping to see what aftermarket exhaust nozzles you got and now see you printed them yourself. I can't believe that a Tamiya kit this old and this popular yet also known for the bad exhaust nozzles has almost no aftermarket nozzles! It is crazy! "Tamiya F-15 1/48 nozzles" popped right up on Ebay, only for all the nozzles from F-35s, through F-14s, F16s, F-18s etc... to all say Tamiya and then the 2 options for the F-15 say G.W.H!! Then right next to that, is "Tamiya F-15C nozzles for 1/32 only! " WTF???
@johnalecsscalemodeling10 күн бұрын
Thanks for checking it out - the kit nozzles are so plain. I looked before I made mine and yeah there was nothing for purchase. Frankly I still haven't mastered the printing and if there is aftermarket reasonable $ I'd just buy them. Cheers

However, I want to build either a Panzer IV or Stug III with full interior first. I just need RFM to up their UK supply chain.

Apart from the decal issue, it looks like a nice kit. I have to say, though, after being used to aircraft in either 1/32 or 1/48, building one in 1/35 is going to feel strange. In my eyes, 1/35 is for armour. Regardless, enjoy the build when you get started. 😊❤😊
