We do, but this tree was unfortunately starting to fail , it was next to houses and power line and a bunch of other trees.

Close!! It's actually a Leland cypress, I don't know if I could cut down a red dawn, this trees are amazing!

@@Treeguygarrett ah yes, i didnt consider a Leland. Even Leland are pretty rot resistant. They are a mix of two trees. I think a california cypress and an alaskan species, either yellow cedar or something. Hybrid tree. I think theyre mostly grown from cuttings.

Now that you say that I've never seen a Leland rot before, they do have a time limit though, one of these trees had fallen down on the neighbors house, and once we got all of them out we were able to easily pull the stumps out. They were at the end of their life

LYMANTRIINAE or a moth caterpillar, of the Eribidae family. Dont touch it, those hairs are irritating. Its also called a Tussock Moth caterpillar..

I don’t remember there name but I think it’s a moth caterpillar. They love elm trees. My grandparents had a elm and there were always hundreds of them on it
