😊that makes me happy. Awesome work. I have some after market fenders and they are terrible. I was looking for a few tip. Thanks.

I fully agree. You could just try to restore their inner soul, keeping the exterior as it is, as much as possible. Imagine to see them running again. Cheers from Italy.

Car was originally a Dodge Mirada. It’s the car that Turk crashes into the pit wall in those final scenes at Atlanta motor speedway

Did you know, why the cars get in this condition? Someone bought it and then?
@kenprice1961Ай бұрын
When you start hanging on "new" stuff on a classic car, it's no longer a classic. Resto-mod conversions do NOTHING to improve a 1966 classic car. It's just a NEW car in an old body.

I live off exit 13 in Cumming and so weird to see how it looked back then. Also, unbelievable that they filmed in this county when it was at its most racist! Thank God it isn't now!

That car was for sale by I think the same person roughly a year ago for $18k. If what I’m told is correct that car would have been built after filming for display purposes.

Restored or not you have two original DoT cars. What’s cooler than that. Congratulations for finding them and preserving them.

The shopping center scene you are correct the auto repair building wasn’t there the building closer the appliance store the shopping strip across the street there had to be a dirt ramp built against the retaining wall for the car to get in where it did or back then the parking lot there was bigger with two lanes of parking cause the street is wider now than then
@nathanbrodeur4 ай бұрын
As John Schneider that played Bo in the tv Dukes Of Hazzard they use leaves to make things look fast and back then that intersection I’m guessing didn’t have a traffic light and if the stunt driver was coming from the north it’s possible that when it was going through the intersection the truck and trailer could have been going 25 mph and picked up speed and also vehicles were being built with dual speed MPH and Kilometer Per hour number speedometers cause when Frog said they were doing 110 MPH that was the metric speed 110 KMPH only 68 MPH

An oil change and some new spark plugs, she'll be good as new!!!😂😂😂 There's another guy, JD Motors i believe is the companies name, had three cars at one time!! He's down to one car now, but they were apparently parked behind some ladies barn, overgrown just like this car, and she called and told someone from the production company, hey i still have these three cars in my backyard, could someone please come pick them up? They apparently totally forgot about them and we're blown away when she called!!

I commend you for keeping them status quo. mike on American Pickers said 'They restore these motor cycles from just the oil stains" He exaggerated of course. My opinion is if you want a replica go for it, but don't destroy perfectly good history just to build a "fake" or replica of the same.

Absolutely unbelievable! After all these years you find the actual screen used Days of Thunder cars setting in the woods rusting. Thank you for saving the cars for future people to enjoy at some point. I grew up loving this movie. I also watched you Smokey & the Bandit filming locations video. I am planning on making a S&B filming location vlog too in the future. Thanks again man.👍

what I would do is just repair it enough so you can easily move them around property if needed and possibly just repair what's been rusted out like the floor pan
