I remember growing up the one rule of comics was "Only Bucky Stays Dead." Then about 10 years later, Winter Soldier appeared and it changed to Uncle Ben. One runner up I would have said was Jason Todd, who readers had the chance to vote off via a call-in poll... only to return years later as the Red Hood thanks to Superboy literally punching a hole through reality and the ripples "overwriting" his death. 😉

People think vintage comic's that aren't #1's, 1st appearance and team ups are the only collectible comic's. They should just read them experience them and relish the moment. Nothing like a good comic or graphic novel.

Luna you look awesome in this episode. I have not read either ROM or Micronauts, written by Mantlo if i'm not mistaken? He did some awesome work on both Hulk and The Spectacular Spider-Man way back in the day. My mom used to buy me those old Hulk issues by Mantlo in the early 80s, when i was in kindergarten i remember 🤣

I liked the smaller Dick Tracy editions, so I never went back and replaced them with the new larger ones. 😛 But I admit the larger ones make the Sundays much easier to appreciate. Still all in all a very enjoyable series of books to have. My first introduction to Gould was through Blackthorne.

This is manga not comics, but you could always check out Silver Fang: The Shooting Star Gin. It's about an Akita and other "wild" dogs in Japan teaming up to fight bears. There's an anime of it, too, which has a pretty great theme song. Run and run! Run and run! Be warned, though, despite it looking pretty "cute" it gets DARK at times. The best way I can describe it is the dogs are very Samurai. "Death before dishonor" type of stuff happens from time to time. The dogs take the war with the bears VERY seriously.
