I’m happy to see these young men out fishing… growing up in a fishing and hunting family I cherish so deeply. I remember a bumper sticker on one of our hunting buddies truck… it said… Take your boy hunting instead of hunting your boy. I’d much rather see them fishing than playing video games

They were all bluegill. the orange/yellow belly ones are males. I think I saw a red ear in there.

The lady does more harm to the ducks by feeding them. That is why the ducks try to come up to you. Plus, it teaches the ducks to depend on people feeding them instead of hunting for food. Also the ducks will now come up to people that might do them harm.

You don't step on fish and you don't throw them from several yards into the water. There are still a few things to learn. I treat fish with respect, whether they end up in the pan or back in the water. I can at least imagine that you have harassed ducks before.😂

I try to respect every fish I catch. I only have harassed the male Muscovy ducks at this pond because they are absolute bullies to everything else. So I suppose you may be right. 😂

@@Flahmas Land of the Free. 👍 The rules for fishing are much stricter here in my area. Catch & release is not permitted. There are only a few exceptions where you are allowed to release a fish back into the water. That's okay for me, because I don't fish for fun, but because I want to eat the fish.

Catfish are tough fish so if you cant get the hook out its fine better then trying and killing it

Yeah I always try to get the hook out but sometimes it's almost impossible. Catfish are the definition of tough so if any will survive a hook it would be them.
