Ok, not faster acceleration, but did you check the top speeds? Vespas are not that sluggish from the lights, if we are among the cars, but top speed on motorway could be bit better. At least mine, my 300 goes bit over 110km/h. But the thing what could be better in these are brakes, with 2 person is slows down, well: slow.
@Nordicexplorer113 күн бұрын
@@OKuusava my test might not be to consider as fact. I did a “drag race “ with my buddy and his stock 300 gts, and mine was considerably faster. Can’t say that I had much more top speed +120 in good conditions but not wert fast after 110.

I have the same problem So I'm wondering why is it that the original fuel tap is So badly made that I need To replace it with a fast fuel tap.
@Nordicexplorer118 күн бұрын
@@huawietelcom4516 as long as you don’t tune your engine the original fuel tap should work fine. Mine was full of dirt in the screen and in the tap, so if I had cleaned it up it would probably have worked. Since I had a fast fuel tap laying around I changed it instead. If you have a more or less original engine and have this problem you should also check your ignition, a bad spark can give the same symptoms.

Greetings from Denmark 😊 Love your videos 👍🏻 I am thinking of buying the SIP alu rims for my PX. Are you satisfied with them and are they difficult to mount the wheels on? And last question, do you buy the 2.50 or the 2.10 size? Thanks in advance 🙏🏻
@Nordicexplorer1Ай бұрын
Hello. Thanks for the positive feedback. I do like the sip alu-rims a lot, especially compared to the original ones. They can be quite tricky to mount the tyres on, but once you’ve done it you will have no problem in the future doing it. I usually go for the 2.10. Or 2.10 in the front and 2.50 in the rear. But if you go for 2.10 on both you can switch front and back when the rear starts to get worn.
@IcantgetausernamedohАй бұрын
@@Nordicexplorer1 thanks for your reply 👍🏻 That’s a very good point about the same size on both fronts and the rear so you can switch. What about the 2.50, does it give any advantage or just the look ? Alternatively you can put 2.50 on both front and rear if you want the switch alternative?
@Nordicexplorer1Ай бұрын
@@Icantgetausernamedoh I don’t think you will see or feel any difference if you putt 2.50 on both. The tyres will still be 3.50/10.

No there is nothing wrong with the installation. A 2012 Vespa has the same mounting of the front shock as a hpe model, there for it sits the other way on these two models. But the 2014-2016 has another mounting of the shock and should be mounted the way I have. If you look up the difference between the models you will see that they don’t have the same mounting of the shock, it’s two totally different shock models for these. Google a 2012 or hpe and then a 2015 and you will see that I’m right.
