The damages claimed by the other person against me exceed my bodily injury limits ,which was 25,000.00 per person ,50,000.00 each accident ,i am told that i will be personally responsible for any payments beyond your policy limits. WHAT SHOULD I DO TO AVOID PAYING THIS INSANE AMOUNT OF MANY,SO the accident happened when i was turning left in a flashing yellow arrow light and the car hit me from the passenger side,SO I WAS AT FAULT.AND AFTER THE ACCIDENT ,I WENT TO HOSPITAL BECOUSE OF MY SHOULDER AND HIP INJURY USING MY OWN HEALTH INSUARANCE NOT FOR THE CAR INSURANCE.WHAT STEP DO I TAKE.

I didn't even think to check that my lawyer was following the proper steps to protect my case or to even move it forward. What happens when your lawyer intentionally doesn't follow these steps and you miss the statute of limitations? How do you get the hospital to listen to your complaint when you have evidence that they didn't follow the standards of care and caused you harm?

I came over railroad tracks and was crossing the street that ran parallel to the tracks, the other driver had a stop sign which said traffic coming over the tracks does not stop. She ran right into the side of my car. She admitted to the police that the accident was her fault. I just had liability issurance and my carrier said they would do nothing. Her issurance carrier kept blaming me for the accident, I guess federal law is nothing but shit.

My 19 year old got in a car accident. His car is 100% in his name but he is under our car insurance. If the driver he hit sues, could we liable?

By this description it does not say there was a monitor failure but a failure in communicating with the patient in a timely way. I have used these devices four times now. The criteria for the doctor, emergency response & patient to be notified were set by the doctor each time. The responsibility would fall with the monitoring company. I have had two different companies monitoring and one notified me of the event at 3am & gathered additional info before notifying the doctor. The second company I am with now as I write this only notified the doctor & they notified me 22 and 24 hours after the events !!! The explanation I was given for the delay in notification was because it didn't require 911 or instructions for me to go to the ER. It seems the first company classified the event as Critical & the other one called it an Alert. Again the doc sets the parameters for notification to him/her & the follow up actions.

I used to work at his Pensacola office and I can attest those rooms were not sterile enough to do procedures in.

I have this monitor. Today I awoke to a strange chiming sound and when I looked over at the phone it was lit up. I wondered if something was wrong so I chatted with support. I was told there was nothing wrong and they could not explain why the phone was chiming or why it was on. I am very suspicious of the accuracy of this unit. I have worn other heart monitors. The way it usually works is the phone alerts to possible arrhythmia and asks to enter any symptoms. Also, my heart doctor read the telemetry every day to check for problems but apparently this on isn't being monitored. BioTel support wasn't helpful.

Great video. Also, I would like to add that if the Defendants try to file a Rule 9 then your looking at longer. Even if you win the Rule 9 the Defendant can file a Rule 10, which is even longer. If you survive the Rule 10 then you hope the case can finally move forward. This is what I’m experiencing currently and we are going on 3 years and still have not even had depositions started. We of course set them but the Defendant may or may not show. In my case the Defendants decided not to show banking on a win with a Rule 9 & Rule 10. My point is insurance companies have enough money to try anything and with a health liability claim they are in bolden because many times they win on procedural technicalities.

I have a big case of medical negligence and medical malpractice and turn of events were unnecessary surgery and treatment was a result of medical trauma medical ptsd stopping emergency surgery and threatened and mentally and physical abused and. Emotional abused not care care was taken everytime o e been to hospital I complained of abdominal pain and breast and chest pain was supposed to have a colonoscopy and no consent was ever given There a lot more now I’m Going to the same Kind of doctors and now this year the emergency surgery I could’ve died now I am see doctors that are actually doing there job doctors last year treated me for other things I am going to report this is like 7 maybe 7 doctors and nutses

So my take on this is that the insurance companies in a no-fault state lobby for these types of laws in order to sell premium insurance policies. I've also learned that no-fault laws are way more absurd than I initially thought.

Question: If the other insurance company low balls you $1,200 diminished value that your appraiser offers is $4,000 plus dollars and you file a small claim in county court. You have the driver of vehicle served and they pass it off to their insurer. However, insurer stills say that is not part of policy, may you collect from driver direct?
