When I come back from Kentucky My LA colors palette Cracked in the middle So I broke it up cause I know what to do But I didn't know the rest I looked up this video and it actually worked

I tried this after I tried to fix my compact powder with the alcohol method. I don't know if I did it wrong but the alcohol bind my powder too much that I can't even swatch it using my sponge, so I had to break it up again just to press it with no alcohol the 2nd time

Does regular nail polish remover work if I don’t have acetone. My hand skin is really sensitive too so I’m worried pure acetone would have me screaming

5 years later I discovered your channel 😆😆😆 I started doing my own gel nails nearly 5 years ago. I use a bunch of different brands (never mix them 😋) I’ve just gotten some Gelish and wanted to double check on application - thank you for your much appreciated help 🙏🏻😇🙏🏻😇

The easiest way (IMO obviously) is to use a rubber base to protect your natural nails. After the initial application, you don't have to remove all of it, you leave a thin layer to protect your nails. There are 2 ways I do it, the first is just removing color because I get bored with it. I use a carbide bit to remove the color only, then I use a hand file to smooth the remaining rubber base. Then use a flame bit to gently lift the proximal nail fold to remove any rubber base or cuticle from that area and also the side walls. After cleaning off dust and prepping with alcohol, I apply a very small amount of rubber base near that proximal nail fold like a tiny "fill" with a detail brush, then I apply my new color and top coat. The second way I do about every 2-3 weeks, and it involves taking down that rubber base to check for lifting and then applying new layers. I use the carbide bit to remove color, then a sanding band to remove rubber base. Once I can see my real nail plate I switch to a strong hand file (100/180) and continue to thin it. I also shape my nails at that time. If it lifts at all, I find that rubber base lifts in tiny round patches that are easily filled and self level with the next application.

This year I've started prioritizing getting Mani pedis, facials, and massages. It occured to me that I could learn to do some of this at home. I bought a basic facial cleanser and moisturizer. Also a manicure basic kit. I found your channel today and I'm excited to hopefully soak up some knowledge of better self care. Can you believe I have never heard of cuticle oil until your video!?
