bro, make knives from a rusty files, leave chisels alone. Three weeks ago I've made timber frame from logs with one old "rusty" chisel

Hi is it possible to make a parting chisel for woodturning out of a old pairof hedge clippers. I dont know what type of steel its made from, I dont think I have seen anyone use garden shears before, do you think it could be done. Love your videos. John.

Jaws are beautiful, but handles aren't to my taste. How much does the resin for the handles cost? I'm guessing about as much as new Chinese pliers from Harbor Freight. That said, satisfying and relaxing to watch.
