The Rough Country and Magnaflow soundclips are from V8 5.0 liter and NOT Ecoboost!

I had a flowmaster with a super 40 muffler on it and had to swap it out for a super 50 because it was way to loud for remote starts at 430am. The system was ok but the quality was not what I was expecting, the muffler rusted badly and the pipes were starting to go as well. My stock exhaust was sitting behind my garage for 3 years not being used and NO RUST! If I had to do it all over again I think I would keep the stock pipes and just add a different muffler.

What is it about v6 mufflers that just sound terrible. I have a 3.5 ecoboost and am wanting to do something with my exhaust more for performance but not sure what to do. Maybe just a high flow muffler? If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. I just hate the sound of these exhaust systems.

Run most of these tires on my work trucks over the years in the Canadian foot hills … deep snow and polished ice…summers rocky rough mountain roads. Duratracs great winter traction, held up well, road noise is my only complaint. KO2’s, solid tire on slippery roads, handle well at higher speeds, long tread life. They get noisier as they wear. Open Country, about the same for traction but found the side walls weak and have a lot of flex, not the greatest handling. Just out Falkens on for this winter so we shall see. So far if money wasn’t the issue I’d put KO’s back on for the best all around tire.

I’m not too sure these were road tested or they were just quoting from the company brochure. Surprised the Maxxis at 811 didn’t make the list.

Kind of a tilted review I had wrangler dura tracs for years 3 sets. I now have open country AT3's. So far nothing jumps out at me as being more or less than the dura tracs. I haven't went in the sand, or snow yet. My dura tracs were awesome in the sand and snow. I think the wranglers are the best, but I wanted to try a different tire due to my central California location. The At3's are nice on the road. They are lighter than the Duratracs by like 6 pounds. I will see I guess over time, but I think the snow and sand will prove they are not as good as the wranglers. if there is going to be mud ko 2's will be loaded and worthless. My friend has those tires. They good for road desert and gravel.

I got all excited about the Rough Country until it dawned on me, that sound is NOT coming from a 2.7 ecoboost. That's a 5.0. People do make decisions based on videos like this...get it right.

Haha 1:40 is def not a 2.7l v6 and if it is it sounds like a v8 which is nice great video though lol
