I think I know why the Pokemon games are so badly made, I don't know if it's specifically a Japanese thing but over there they have this sort of logic that 'X is advertising Y' so it can be cheap. In this instance the games are just advertisement for the cards so it doesn't need to have a lot of effort or cost a lot to produce.

I'm doing a livingdex right now (after quitting pokemon for like 7 years). I did every generation (remake if I could) in the last past year and farmed almost everything. My next step is Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and oh boi I'm not ready lmao (Btw I just did Arceus and I mean, the gameplay was fun but yeah, the game feel so rushed wtf)

While the dialogue has devolved, allow this author of a female lead fiction series with a wide spectrum of diversity make you take your seat for the lesson. You see, the issue isn’t that the things are being included. Not truly. But rather that their inclusion is being used as a metric to the quality of the piece. When their actual efforts on the bones and heart of the story fail these otherwise innocent characters, what they are is used as a shield and deflection. This causes stagnation within the craft. Add to the dialogue that everyone who insists on adding these things inorganically to their tale expresses loathing and vitriol towards a very specific category of people, and the entire conversation devolves into something undignified and a facsimile of its true core. My female lead is Asexual. She is a physically strong warrior who actively avoids relying on others more than she has to. She is on a mission to save a male peer who is the cause of most of the troubles the universe is currently facing. But these factors that would make her seem “woke” at first blush, fall apart as we explore her character. As we explore her history with this friend of hers. How she is following the same self destructive trail of guilt and shame that drove him to his fatal mistake himself. She struggles with shellshock and trauma both from being kept captive in her own body for a decade, but the lives that were extinguished by her hands during that time. Blood that she still feels on her hands as she sees herself as a weapon of mass murder trying to repay the kindness of a man who became a soldier just to give her a chance at freedom. A man who would have been so much happier to stay in his little corner of the world minding his own business. And that’s just one aspect of the story. So no, Mr.Sodaberg. Writing isn’t about politics. It is about people. Politics is the framework we use to guide collective morality and provide context to our identities. But more than that, our identities are shaped by experiences and politics is a game of finding enough people who understand your experiences so that you are large enough to help other people understand. Even acts of political violence are an attempt to be understood, even if it is by force. So, again… Mr.Sodaberg… you have misrepresented and misunderstood the people you mock and all those who share your lack of understanding will chitter along as the width and depth of human connection slowly withers on the vine culturally. The collective humanity you believe you are in tune with is but one piece and a rather small one, despite its vibrancy. So try to understand that I am speaking as a person, not a voice for any kind of politics. Because of that, my voice is too small to be heeded or considered. And let the dismissal of each person who did not read or those who did only to not engage be proof of how small my voice is. And let every like this gets be it’s own statement as others follow behind this frozen moment and find someone who understands them or who has understood what I’m trying to say. I am not weak of spirit and “internet funny guy” is a title I hold in its proper place. But what you are saying has an effect on those who don’t and so I leave this here as its own statement. A person speaking to a vibrant but small piece of the puzzle.

i still think you should start with cyclizar(or however its named), and then, get a version unique evolution piece that would turn it into the legendary of the game. it would feel more natural, and also, make more sense. instead of you having 3 versions of the same pokemon, but one is the shitty version from wish.

The fact legend of zelda and this game came out on the same console and most likely could of or did have the same budget and performs this badly and looks this bad in general is probably one of the most damning things ive seen in more than a decade.. this isnt a case of low budget this is either a talent issue or just sheer incompetent laziness just trying to church out the cheapest version of something as a cash grab....
