when / if you play x 2 can you put the gullwings in the least revealing outfits, I swear every time I see rikku in that game I get a heart attack, the dual gunner's outfit is fine-ish... and paine's outfit is oddly the most conservative, which you wouldn't expect from a goth, but when you have rikku in that monstrosity... anything looks modest.

I never played any of the OG releases of 3, but watched videos on KZfaq and read about it, and then probably with help from 4’s praise. P3 seemed to get a lot of attention after FES released, but it seems like Ikutsuki really kicked off the trend of ‘faking being a hero’ in games throughout the Late 2000’s-2010’s. So after being betrayed in the Zero Escape trilogy, the Danganronpa saga, and Adachi in 4 being a case of the ‘Villain starts making sense’ meme. I was glad to see Ikutsuki get what he deserved when I played Reload.

I dunno, I think the in-universe explanation of O'aka XXIII still being distraught about the death of his sister the summoner, and Yuna reminding him so strongly of her that he decides to become a sort of secret unofficial guardian, aligns with him being "coincidentally" always around even if you backtrack. I guess we'll see in the next episode whether he follows you as far as the boat where you originally meet him - IIRC I think he does - in which case the fact that no one in the party ever gets weirded out by this makes you question whether they have any powers of observation at all! 🤣

Wakka showing up could be an oversight like you said, I always assume those kinds of things are accidents or Beta leftovers. Maybe the story/storyboards changed during production, especially with Square RPGs. I imagine there’s at least some scrapped story elements per release.
