hmm first i would say make sure the holes are COMPLETELY covered, because it can affect the sound if air is escaping. next i would use the tonguing technique (saying, "two" into your tin whistle to cut off the airflow using your tongue) this will give you an idea of how much air that note will need. you blow too hard and the note will break, blow too soft and it wont be a solid clear note. i hope this helps! KZfaq and the internet are full of people who can give better advice than me haha. keep practicing bud, Cheers!
