Ive been playing and watching since I was born. Played junior A until 20. And in all that time, I’ve never once seen a goal scored while the other team completely thinks the play is dead. I’ve seen some late whistle goals, but I’ve never seen a team legit skate off the ice and have the play still on. Hilarious

Even the linesmen thought the play had ended! What's also interesting is that this goal, along with another goal being disallowed in a controversial goaltender interference call, those events actually served to anger the team... It lit the fire that propelled them to victory!
