Which side of the aircraft is better to view the glaciers on the way out to Taku Lodge?

The left side. You will see Taku then Hole in the wall glacier.

Sorry to say guys, but 100% offside, without question. Everyone seems to be focusing on the initial kick from near midfield, and that has 0% to do with anything. Once the ball is inside the penalty area, white #17 puts a head on it. The keeper makes the save, and that play is finished. Then, a new play begins. The other white player (couldn't see number) makes a play on the ball. He was called offside for gaining an advantage from being in an offside position on a ball that was last played by a teammate (#17). The goalie's save does not negate the offside. No goal, indirect free kick for green.

I'm sorry guys, but there is no where in the video that shows the position of the players at the time of the kick. there is no definitive way, based on this video, to say 100 whether this was offside or not.

People, this camera angle does not tell the entire story! Do you know what happened/was happening when the ball was kicked??? Is it possible that the player was in an offside position and was moving back to an onside position when the ball was kicked and by the time the camera shows us his position we THINK he is onside??? DON'T RUSH TO JUDGMENT!!! While it is possible that there was, in fact, no offside, it also definitely possible that the player was, in fact, in an offside position when the ball as kicked. GET ALL THE FACTS FIRST!!! No judgment on the officials can be made from this video.

If 17 didn't touch the ball initially it's not offside.

I must clarify now that I watched the entire video. Player one who initially headed the ball and eventually headed it in the goal was never offside. (The camera doesn't show the initial position but based on his motion when he comes in view it is highly unlikely that he was offside and pulled out while the long ball was played). Player two who headed the ball off of the keeper's rebound was offside when player one headed the ball initially. However, the ref called offside on player one on the initial header and the ref made a bad decision. Eventually justice was done but accidentally. I hope this helps.

+Chris Sulincevski I absolutely agree with you--it appears that the actual call was incorrect (as he was calling the offside from the through-ball kick). However, the blonde-haired white player was clearly in front of his teammate when the teammate headed the ball. That head "reset" offside, which put him in an offside position. So yes, quite possibly a bad call, but even neglecting that, the very next call would be offside. So no goal was correct--nobody got robbed by the referee.

+Brad Heers One note though--this presumes that the near-side player (#17) actually DID head the ball; watching the video it's not completely clear that he made contact.

The ref was definitely wrong because he called offside on the player who first headed the ball towards the keeper. He was definitely not offside. The ref definitely made a wrong call on that. However, the player who scored the goal was offside when his teammate headed the ball thus the goal was scored from offside. Regardless that the ball came back to him from the keeper, the player who scored the goal was in offside position when his teammate headed the ball initially. But the ref obviously called the offside on the player who initially headed the ball and he made a bad decision on that.

+Chris Sulincevski He was right (offside call), but for the wrong reason (initially, white was _probably_ onside, but when the player headed the ball, their teammate was in an offside position.)

Yeah, that's a goal, not an offsides offense. You can see he's just barely moving past the 2nd to last defender when the ball is over head, so he was in onside when the ball was played.
