HE HAS THE FIRST 3 STEPS RIGHT BUT HE SHOULD SAY, START THE BAY DOOR IN THE CLOSE POSITION. Then press the black button to get the yellow light on, then pres it again unit you reach the top desired position of the door. Then press the purple button to lock it in. After that, he does not seem to have the correct instructions to set the lower limit switch. But thanks, figured it out but tried a lot of thinks and by then, I wasn't sure what made it work.

I have a screeching solid sound happening with my lift master opener does this light have a battery pack in it? Just wondering if the battery is dead and needs replacing? Model# 380LMC

I tried at least a dozen times. The door will not go to the adjusted spot. Always stays 1” up.

So you can either have a light on top of the garage and a light on the calling of the garage

One thing that no one tells you even the instructions is that the switch needs to be in tension with the wire. It is supposed to be pulled up and not flush with the mechanism. When it is installed, you should be able to push it down and hear a click. That way, it is always under tension and garage door doesn't roll back up automatically. It was so annoying troubleshooting that one step. Hope it helps.

The question is, how is the smart control panel attached to the wall - or more importantly how do I get it off? I have the same opener my door is 12 ' tall the door went up but will not come down it try to but then stops. Any ideas? Thanks for the help.

same thing happens to me. can't get the door to come back down. can only set the door up. then it doesn't work any longer

Odds are it is one of the safety sensors preventing the opener from bringing the door down. Check to make sure the photo-eyes at the bottom of the door are making a connection and you have both an amber and green light. If the door still will not come down then it is likely the cable tension monitor. The door cable is losing tension at some point in the close cycle, causing the door to reverse or preventing it from going down at all. If this is the case you should call a professional to service the door and opener.

i converted a barn into a garage the door is 14ft by 7ft 6inches should i just do a 14 by 8? also a friend of mine says i can have his old one but its 15 by 8 will that work?

terrible instruction. 1. doesnt show how to put on the clamps for the light cover . 2. mine didnt come with a template. 3. if it did come with a template the video doesnt show how the light connect to the template. the ideal of these videos is for the person thats not a professional installer. he may know what he is doing , bit i dont
