I've been a fan of the Council since 1984. This is such a beautiful song! I remember getting the album and wearing it out back in the 90s. This is a band I wish I had seen in concert ! ❤❤❤

Such cool footage ! Weller always went for what was new and inspiring , even it didn't always hit the mark with his staple audience . This version of Cost of Loving is way better than the album . Dee looks and sings spectacular .

PAUL WELLER GENIO MUSICALE, UN GRANDE CHE HA ATTRAVERSATO, 40 ANNI DI GRANDE MUSICA, STAGIONI IRRIPETIBILI,, FATTI DI ARTISTI , CHE HANNO SEGNATO LA VITA DI TANTE GENERAZIONI!!! OGGI LA MUSICA E' DIVENTATA UNA ..TRUFFA.....TRA TRAP, RAP, ED IDIOTI SIMILI.....

It's the best song they did. It blew me away. Everything the imagery and the tune is perfect!! But for me how far do you want to go back ie English Rose. Butterfly collector. Always loved Paul's meaningful slower songs against the faster pop hits. But l love them all! Well some of the Solo stuff is difficult but when you have written as many songs as Paul Weller. I forgive him God bless Paul thanks for my life soundtrack ❤❤❤❤
