it does work on ps5 without the adapter, you just have to do a little more steps in the config page, and even without those steps it works, but it disconnects every 8 minutes

I cannot thank you enough for this walkthrough, and all the time you put into it. I really appreciate how his handedness is consistent no matter what side of the screen he’s on. It had to have taken more work but I think its a great way to add to the character in a subtle way and absolutely was worth the trouble
