Classic, one of best coming of age movies ever... For me key scene is in the end when Richie follow Nina in the bar, Bob Dylan performing "Time they are Changing": of course Richie cant enter the bar, because for him, they are no change time: he will be in marriage with Despie( who he really doesnt love, he is in love with Nina)... Nina will be Beatles, Stones, anti-war protestant for Vietnam, different life than Richie.. Also it is obvious that Richie never saw his friend in the life: Joey leave town and go to other side of country....

7 years ago to the day! And in the week leading up to Scotland's biggest match in decades, this Friday evening, the opening match of UEFA EURO 2024 vs the host nation and one I hold very close to my heart, Germany! Very emotional, trying to keep it under control, my emotion, excitement, nerves and a real touch of "home sickness", all the while being far away in Canada. Love you Scotland 🙏⚽🫂❤️

Mate, that slight intake of breath at 2:07 and the roar for the second is just spine-tingling. I wasn't there, but was watching it at home. Screaming like a maddie. What a moment...shame we couldn't defend for toffee at the end, but that moment was just chef's kiss!

@davidhamilton1981 cheers David, quite the moment in time it was, looking for more magical and dramatic times in these next few weeks! 🙏⚽❤️

I absolutely agree with your review. I've actually watched it a few times and I really like it. **spoiler alert** I loved how Douglas finds clarity and redeems himself at the end. I'm sure Neil would have been proud of his Dad just like how he was proud of him. Such a nice wee movie and loved the nostalgic memories it brought to me of when I used to go to portobello beach with my Dad (who later in life revealed that he was gay hence why I think the movie hits home for me so much)

"Oh Ya f*cker, see if this goes in!?" Has to be the title of the next Scottish Football book that records Scotland's progress of the last decade. Great to see us all celebrating together.

So lovely- I love how it looks like a (in my limited experience) European town ♥️. Of course - love your videography. Made me a little sad how that person had to go on the street in order to get around in their wheelchair. You recorded it respectfully

New Video, it initially started out as a straightforward social media post with just words, but decided to lend my voice to it, hope you enjoy ❤️ "I choose empathy, compassion, understanding and kindness whenever I can. I choose to listen to people when they want to share with me a little of their day, their stories, successes and woes. I choose to listen, because you might be the only person that has given that person a chance on that particular day and they really wanted to share that story or simply just to vent to you. Perhaps sometimes people have taken advantage of kindness or you have taken your eye off the ball, but I can't change who I truly am and will always try to do my best to connect, listen and to story share with others. One of the very best classrooms is taking the opportunity to sincerely and genuinely spend time with people, listen to their stories and learn about their lives, their struggles, their success and their inspiration… If in any doubt, always choose kindness, to be kinder, you will attract the right kind Of energy and your kind of people in turn will be drawn to you. Your mind and health will also thank you for it. Remember and be kind to yourself also! I really hope 2024 has been treating you well so far, hang in there, keep moving forward and I really hope it's a happy and successful one for us all. It's the hope, struggle, kindness and story sharing that can connect us all. Take it easy..." ❤️🙏
