Had w10 13lb braid for more than a year now never had a problem like that

@@shanebecker588 we both fished with thicker braids, maybe the problem is just with those....?

@emielvisser621 could be or just a bad batch might not be perfect but just stating from my experience it's done ok

@@shanebecker588 There was quite some time between the experiences, so then it apparantly is a widespread problem. And yeah.... "bad" and premium priced line are not something that go together in my book. QC should have caught these problems, it was just totally unusable and really not in the same league as f.i. Daiwa tournament 8 braid evo+ which is similar in price. Now had to pay 2 times to fill the same spool, which was a real shame. Would have expected better from Westin, because I really like their rods and baits. Use those with pleasure and to great effect. So far only the line has been a let down....

Hi.. No, that´s not normal. Please check if you have tightened the small tension knob too much. And see if it still happens when you activate 3 or 4 pins of the centrifugal break. If yes, please take this topic to your dealer.

Depends on the water you´re fishing but we have a lot of pro-teamers that use them for this species!
