Honestly only when you catch up is when you're going to truly appreciate the earlier arcs or maybe arcs you enjoyed less. Cause the thing with one piece is that it's not cause the arc's over that it's not going to be connected to anything in the future anymore. Oda's pretty great at being able to weave a story that's not just arc after arc where you almost forgot what happened in the past or it doesn't matter to the story anymore etc. Even now we still get to see characters return or plot points that get more clear cause of stuff that happened hundreds of chapters ago

Congrats on finishing the Prologue. One Piece is a story that builds on itself. The more you see, the more you make connections, the more you get absorbed in the world and mysteries of the world, the more you learn.

One Piece is the kind of story that gets better and better as it goes. Also the kind of story that's better on re-read.

Honestly I was fully on board from the second we saw Luffy lol. Hard to tell if One Piece is for u if ur not too keen on the inbetweens. Definitely worth trying tho. I knew a guy that got like 300 episodes in (Marineford) and decided he was a One Piece hater. He said he only half paid attention. I convinced him to try it again and before he'd even gotten to the grand line he was saying it was the best story he's ever seen. (He was talking some serious shit before I finally wore him down and now he doesn't even remember being such a hater cuz he loves it that much now.)

Understand that peak moments are composed of little moments that seem like nothing until they matter. The connections that Oda makes with his world building and story telling is insane. There is an entire arc that you would swear is bs that has a major connection in a future arc. Just the little subtle moments that hit like a Mike Tyson punch when they matter. Not gonna lie I hated ussop and Luffy when I first tried the anime years ago, they take a bit to warm up to. Then all of a sudden you end up going back to those cringe moments and smiling, because you actually know these characters like real people.

Read it all. And watch the peak scenes in the anime. The OP soundtrack is great and hits. I can't imagine OP without the anime soundtrack.

30 second general bullet tips to help you out long term with the game. a. Aim for the head and don't spray. Tap the guns. Snake has really strong weapon handling in story mode, but guns are hard to control in this game overall. b. You do not need to use FPV to use the guns effectively. See point a. for reference. c. You stab or use the stun function with the knife. Do not use the slashes unless you know what you're doing lol. d. Get in the habit of using your camo more. You're often running around with negative camo rating and its hurting you a lot. e. Suppressors break in this game. You need to equip new ones, like in MGS3. f. If you want, you can use CQC like in MGS3 by using R1. g. You can do hold ups on hostiles by silently getting behind them and aiming behind them. You can even do this with an empty gun if you run out of ammo. I probably missed a few other things worth mentioning, but I've been watching this over the last two/three days, so I tried to just keep these in mind for you. Hope you finish the game and enjoy it.

So One Piece goes in like several Arcs becomes a Saga, so these 100 Chapters were the first Saga, Each Saga is gas. Next saga is Alabasta. Arlong Park is very good arc but it wont be in anyones top 3 and in majority cases wont be in top 5.

this game and every mgs has predicted some kind of scary shit. the scene where snake and merrill are discussing how she didnt know campbell sent snake, when she punches the column there is a faint audio cue . Its to let you know that nanomachines or some sort of ai/patriot control is being asserted . In that example , as she said herself, you can see the nanomachines instantly changing her angry behavior and calming her down and focusing. That is scary sci fi.
