You saved my life! I built a make-shift fence out of reclaimed pallets and I was never thinking it was going to be perfect since every board was a different size. I was tempted to just use zip-ties and once you showed a picture of them after seven years I was off to the races! Yay for you!!

Mine was not that easy, probably the channel was too small for the spline, but still this video was super helpful!

Amazing job! I love your problem-solving creativity. I put in a wood fence 7 years ago and the posts are already leaning and the fence looks bad. I wish I had put in a chain link instead and just did something creative with it like what you've done.

I just re-screened my patio door. It came out great but mine doesn’t go in and out nearly so easily. It was a real battle getting it out.

Hello, I have a question. I am moving into an apartment that have rodents problems I will be on the third floor most likely, but I know sometimes they don’t bother or sometimes they climb to the top floors, do you think this method can be used for an apartment like behind the stoves, possibly under the sink areas like the holes are sometimes I was also thinking about doing cement because I heard that that’s good cause I can’t do it if I cement the holes or cracks and gaps, do you think it’s best ?

i think if water does somehow get in behind the siding, you want it to have a path out. maybe some copper mesh along the gap, instead of the backer rod, and then caulk the copper mesh to keep it secure every foot or so, would be a better solution?

Thank you. I will take it to Lowes or see what they recommend. The handle broke off at the spine.
