Rubber fuel ⛽️ line held up just fine til a huge tree fell on the car and destroyed it. LOL hahaha 😆 😂 🤣 😅 😄

Buen video señor, consulta: ¿¿ Se podría usar silicona de alta temperatura en reemplazo del gasket..? ¿¿ Necesariamente hay que instalar esa empaquetura.??

Always use jack stands, there's always just that one time that we think we can skate through it 🤔 Good job, stay safe

Hey Dan, did the fuel line have green clips or white clips? how did you get the clips off?
@danthemanjohnson768611 ай бұрын
Not sure think green on backside... front was the seized nut 🔩 so this "rubber" fuel ⛽️ line fit the bill perfectly...worked fine til huge tree 🌳 crushed the car then it went bye 👋 byes...brake lines were going rusted and it was time to go... too bad that 3.1 had a recent intake redo and it "ran like a raped ape" my dad used to say...northern GPs won't last too much longer with the salt road winters here in PA...02 lasted 16 years ..the original battery 🔋 wasn't replaced til year 12??!!??!! LOL hahaha 😆 😂 it's too bad loved ❤️ that car so nimble on curvy roads and great 👍 👌 on fuel ⛽️ mileage on trips... 600 mile radius... 3.1 V6 best 👌 engines ever made.

is this for the 3.1/3.4/or 3.8. I know for sure the 3.8 is in that location bit upon 1st inspection on my 3.1 I didn't see it there. It was a quick glance so I didn't have the car jacked up or anything but I didn't see anything under drivers side that remotely resembled the filter. so I know this is a old post but for future reference can u put which engine model you have, unless I'm a complete idiot and the filter is in same spot for all motors which could be the case, that way dummies like me don't pull their hair out trying to find an easy way to find a quick fix for their problem. thanks for the video and Btw pb blaster might of helped with the rusted line. I had a northern GP GTP and line was rusted to he'll sprayed the s**t out of it with pb blaster and let it sit for 5 mins spray again 5 mins and spray last time and then try to take the connectors off. 90% time will work.

3.1 sir but all model engines have this same location for the fuel filter...and Yes I used penetrant to no avail... rust and elements from Pa winters got to this underside of the car. sorry I didnt post about the engines displacement. Thanks for your comments. - DTM

DanTheMan Johnson hey just now saw your video. Tha KS for sharing. Thinking mine might have this problem or the pump. Just died on me and battery went dead as well. Thought it was the alternator. Used a jump pack got it started.. Struggled REAL BAD almost as if it was on 3 cylinders.. Had to keep pressing the pedal to keep the engine sputtering and then it finally died. Was going to check this first, and then move on to the pump. Any other suggestions sir??

I am not a mechanic but the problem you just described COULD be anything from the fuel filter to the fuel pump relay which I did replace as well (do not get at junk yard get new one or.. clean the plug end of the relay and try that) but either way could be anything from fuel filter to fuel pump relay to fuel pump, but if your car goes "dead", then that it could be be just about anything...not sure. could be "weak" battery too so...check your plug wires too... you never know. Good luck and thanks for commenting. - DTM

all else fails have it scanned for free at "Advance". Mine had a "stumble"... and it was a plug wire. simple. done. opened hood at night and saw a plug wire arcing/"snapping" away.
