The entire state is like this.... I live in Ventura county and it's ridiculous. I lived in N San Diego (San Marcos) and seeing the homelessness is ridiculous. When I travel from Ventura county to Mexico (Ventura county, LA County, Orange County and finally San Diego County), it's sickening how this state has become and the lack of action the state politicians have done anything to resolve it is infuriating.

What an absolutely horrible tragedy. I remember that like it was yesterday. Tell ya what, it pays to know Christ Jesus man! I said then, and I say today, May God rest their souls. My only problem with this awful accident is where was ATC during all this? Were the crew advised of dangerously close traffic in that controlled airspace? Was the pilot of the smaller aircraft squawking mode C ? (Altitude Encoding) Was his transponder even on? Maybe there were early advisories given to the Airliner, I just had not heard of any. That was a while ago, but 1978 communication between ATC and pilot wasn't exactly antiquated. Airplanes hitting each other in visual conditions make absolutely no sense if everyone is doing what their trained to do. Again, God rest the victims souls!

Did you know all cable bill charge a 12.00 fee that per the cable company goes to the state for parks. Then another 12.00 fee that goes to tge cable company. Reminds me of all the times they would have the guys that went AWOL walk by HQ in chains to hop in a van lol. Like it was some sort of deterrent against going AWOL. Not going to name it but that unit had the most AWOL soldiers in the Army at the time. Also had a hot piss problem. It was so bad close to deployment and so far through the ranks that they actually had to trash an entire test of the company because command couldn't believe it and thought someone tampered with the samples.
