Because the Mets aren't a consistently good franchise. More times than not they are a collection of overpaid dorks and choke artists. So when they go on a hot streak and make a run, they almost always need a tuning fork of cultural and superstitious symbolism that represents their identity within the acute period of winning. Almost like how the internet nerds and losers online create their meme culture within reddit etc.

Don saying that the Yankees would trade The Martian to rent LOUSY Pete Alonzo is the stupidest thing ever said by any sports radio host ever in the history of baseball. It's one thing to be a fan of the Mets, a team that always does the wrong thing, but it's another to live in a fantasy land. Not sure I can listen to him ever again.

Vanbiesbrouck was left exposed in the NHL expansion draft at the end of 92-93. Rangers kept Richter stayed and they won the cup in 94. Vanbiesbrouck won the Viezna trophy the year before.

I gotta say im a tad unhappy about this rush to get Cole back. ID have rather they had given him one more rehab start and brought him in for the Mets series towards the end of the month. I hope we dont regret this move. SO SO SO hope we dont regret this.

He’s throwing the same number of pitches regardless of where he starts. Doesn’t make a difference expect he’s pitching good so have him start in the majors to help with a win. Our starters are starting to progress towards their mean, I like Cody Poteet as a 6th starter. Tired of seeing him every 5th game, he’ll get exposed.

@@ctcards2636 This Start is where he’ll come out at 85-90 pitches. Doesn’t matter where he starts MLB AAA or the moon. He’s throwing the same number of pitches on the same day. Both have the same pitch clock.

Yes Baltimore has the best prospects. I would hope so after being so bad for so long and getting high draft picks. Yankees have a great farm too, and we didn’t have to tank to do it. We literally have no spot for a guy named the Martian who’s a freak, we’re good.

It’s Dan Graza he does the intermission show for the Rangers on the radio, as well as the halftime show for the Knicks on the radio he’s a good commentator, he also does the show on weekdays right after MKS, and he’s done MKS shows in the past with Don he’s very good
